At its site in Hildesheim, INTERPANE Sicherheitsglas GmbH manufactures high-quality fully tempered glass and laminated safety glass using modern production equipment.
The product range covers a wide variety of applications: from conventional fully tempered glass panes right up to bullet-resistant glazing. The selection is divided into two main areas: design and function.
The standard range of safety glass products includes elements for parapets, glass doors and complete-glass constructions, room dividers and glass that is safe to walk on for stairs and bridges. Alarm safety glass is an important product that is further processed to multi-pane insulation glass by certified suppliers.
Printed glass is a speciality of INTERPANE Hildesheim. A large digital printing machine can apply ceramic inks directly to a wide variety of glass. They are then baked in at high temperatures. Diverse façades throughout Europe with individual motifs have thus been realized.
Special laminates with photofilms, heatable glass and switchable glazing are also part of the current product spectrum. Laminated safety glass with coloured, light-resistant films can be manufactured in a wide variety of transparent and translucent colours.
These products can now be found in a lot of market segments. Their possible uses extend from interior design to façades, outdoor advertising and signs.
Within the framework of the group certification of INTERPANE Glas Industrie AG, the Hildesheim plant has an integrated management system with the areas quality assurance, environmental protection and working safety according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2009.
